AlyChu is coming to MizuCon 2017!

Since AlyChu can’t just copy and paste images of trash cans, here’s a bio instead!

All joking aside, AlyChu is a cosplayer, pin-up model, body-positivity advocate and Final Fantasy enthusiast. Her cosplay portfolio spans an impressive decade, and contains an eclectic mix of anime, manga, video game, and comic book characters.  In recent times, AlyChu has become a large advocate for body-positivity in the cosplay community, breaking beauty standards and creating a label for herself and others to share in a judgment-free zone. She’s even gone on to have talks about body-positivity at conventions like NYCC. When she isn’t dressing up as your waifus or rallying for body positive environments, AlyChu enjoys long walks on the beach, petting cats, and pushing the payload.

Megaran is coming to MizuCon 2017!

When LA Weekly said that Ran’s “fanbase and niche audiences are growing at a rate not seen since Tech N9ne,” they meant it. A former teacher, Mega Ran (formerly Random) blends education, hip-hop and gaming in amazing new ways, penetrating the farthest reaches of the galaxy with his unique rhyme style and electric performances.

The first ever rap artist to be licensed by a major game developer (CAPCOM), Ran takes the old and makes it new through his unique form of music he calls “Chip Hop.”

Arguably the world’s most well-known video-game influenced performance artist, Mega Ran’s high-energy shows and fun, nerdy persona have led to speaking engagements, world tours, tons of convention and festival performances, and a legion of smart fans, patiently awaiting his next move.

Come see Megaran at Mizucon 2017!

Welcome The Royal Chessmen to MizuCon 2016!

guests_2016_royal_chessmen

The flash of steel, as blades meet under a blazing sun. A battle fought over honor… or money. An enemy well met. A job well done. Good friends. Good times. You’ll find all this and more with The Royal Chessmen. Come back to a time when honor was worth dying for; a princess (or a prince) was a prize worth seeking; and chivalry was far from dead. The Royal Chessmen is an acting troupe who portrays the life of another time through character interaction, staged combat, and living chess games. From King Arthur’s Round Table, to King Henry’s wives, to Blackbeard’s pirate ship, we span the ages.

Please welcome The Royal Chessmen to MizuCon 2016!
